A team of researchers made a surprising find when examining a papyrus-wrapped mummy mask -- they found what they believe to be the oldest-known copy of a gospel in existence. The researchers found a fragment of the Gospel of Mark that dates back to about 90 A.D., Live Science reports. Previously, the oldest surviving copies of Biblical gospel texts date back to 101 to 200 A.D.

Charred by the intense heat and pyroclastic flows of Mt. Vesuvius, whose 79 AD eruption destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as several nearby settlements, the papyrus scrolls remained buried under ash until 1752, when they were discovered in Herculaneum in a private residence that housed an impressive library – later dubbed the “Villa of the Papyri.”

Sunnis turn to Ahmadi interpretation of Islam and reform! 

For 100 years Ahmadis have been saying that it is unlawful for a man to say the word divorce three to affect a divorce. Sunni brothers have rejected our interpretation until yesterday when Pakistan's Council for Islamic recommended that the three in one divorce is invalid and anyone and that it be made a criminal offence.

Last year the Pakistani religious court threw out a case of rape which only had DNA evidence to support it. We gave a khutba (Friday Sermon) to show that the court was wrong. Now the Pakistani parliament has passed a law admitting DNA evidence into evidence.
